Özge Özpirinçci, who stars in the series 'Sandık Kokusu' currently airing on Show TV, highlighted the words of the 14-year-old gifted character Zeynep from 'Kızıl Goncalar'—a series that tells the story of the intersecting paths of two families, one secular and the other conservative—who says, "It is always the girls who suffer," and stated the following:
"Art draws its inspiration from life. It is life, not pressure and bans, that gives art its final form. It is always the girls who suffer, but it is also the girls who slap the truth in our faces in its most naked form.
