'Surname' crisis in the Tayfur family:

Tuğçe Tayfur, the daughter of Ferdi Tayfur and Necla Nazır, welcomed her second baby with Muhammet Aydın last June.

The waters are not calming down between the master artist Ferdi Tayfur and his daughter, who did not attend her wedding.

Ferdi Tayfur made the following statement on his social media account through his lawyer Hakan Tamgüç:

"Due to certain private reasons that have developed between my client, Mr. Ferdi Tayfur, and his daughter Tuğçe Aydın, we are informing the public that our client does not consent to the use of the 'Tayfur' surname by Tuğçe Aydın for commercial purposes, whether visually or audibly, nor does he consent to the performance of his own works by Tuğçe Aydın on social media, digital platforms, or on stage. Furthermore, we are informing Tuğçe Aydın that there is an outstanding claim regarding our client's naming rights stemming from the store operated by Tuğçe Aydın under the name 'Tuğçe Tayfur Store,' and that she should refrain from making any statements or remarks about our client, Mr. Ferdi Tayfur, his nieces and nephews, or his relatives on social media and digital platforms.

We hereby declare that if the statements we have made are not respected, we reserve all our legal rights against both Tuğçe Aydın and any individuals or companies working and acting together with Tuğçe Aydın, and we will file a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office."

36-year-old Tuğçe Tayfur said, "The storks didn't give me the surname Tayfur. It's my surname because you are my father. You have demanded naming rights. If I had known you were out of money, I would have helped you with my husband. I did whatever you said as a father, but I ended up being the bad guy again. God exists, there is no sorrow. There is also an afterlife you don't believe in, father. Fine, no problem. I will continue as Tuğçe Aydın."

'ALL EXPENSES OF THE ALBUM...'

Tuğçe Tayfur continued her statement: "As for the songs, the main purpose of the 'My Father's Songs' album was because you couldn't sing due to your illness at that time, and for the new generation to remember and know your songs. This was a project. The songs chosen for that album were entirely ones where you wrote the lyrics and music; they were specifically selected. Otherwise, I would have known to sing more well-known songs like 'Bana Sor,' written by Ahmet. All the expenses for the album were covered by dear Bülent Seyhan.

If a single penny of yours has passed to me, may I not see the benefit of my children! What kind of grudge is this? How is this malice just because I spoke up when your niece talked behind my back? Take your nieces and nephews, they are yours, father! I am not working behind your back, I say what I have to say, I don't want a penny from you, take your surname, it's yours. Fine," she continued.

Tuğçe Tayfur later made the following statement:

'I KNEW THEY WOULD WRAP YOU AROUND THEIR FINGER'

"Usually, children go after property and assets. Here, I am watching with astonishment as a father and his niece go after property and assets. You have had a block placed on my brand account. That is, on my children's livelihood. But I am sorry. You and those around you will not get what you want, and I will not let you take the bread from my children's mouths! The intellectual property rights and trademark patent rights for 'Tuğçe Tayfur' were obtained by us in 2023. Because I knew you would do this in the future, that they would wrap you around their finger, how painful it is. I hope you turn back from your mistake."

In a statement she made recently, Tuğçe Tayfur had claimed that her relationship with her father had soured due to Tayfur's manager, Şirin Gözalıcı.
