Tarkan, one of the most important names in Turkish pop music, manages to stand out not only with his identity as a singer but also with his striking messages regarding current events.

Tarkan, who has won the hearts of his fans with his sensitive posts on many issues, this time shared a post regarding May 1st.

Tarkan wrote the following lines next to an old photograph of himself:

I am also a child of the working class.

(By the way, I don't believe in such classes. We are all passengers on the same ship; no one is superior to anyone else in my eyes, in my heart).

I am the child of a working-class family that went to Germany to work in the late 60s.

I grew up in a large family trying to exist under difficult conditions, and I learned at a young age that a better future is possible by working hard and putting in the effort.

I reached the point where I am today by working very hard.

I have never forgotten, and will never forget, where I came from to reach this point.

That is why I have always been authentic to myself. I have always known how to be happy with small things.

Above all else, I have known how to remain a good person.

It came from within me, and I wanted to share these feelings with you on this special day.

Happy May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day.
