In the capital markets fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, new claims have been made regarding the earnings obtained by Melis Sütşurup, the wife of singer Mustafa Sandal.
Mustafa Sandal had previously stated when allegations regarding his wife came to the agenda, "Other than being husband and wife, Melis and I have had no joint business ventures in financial terms."
According to the report by Sabah, account statements in the investigation file allege that Sütşurup earned a total of 15 billion 793 million liras from the fund.
In previous claims reflected in the public domain, this amount was stated to be 11.1 billion TL.
The report claims that Sütşurup invested 13 billion 673 million liras, allegedly earned from the stock market, into Tera's TLY fund and made an additional profit of 2 billion 355 million 287 thousand liras in a short time.
With this figure, it was stated that Sütşurup placed first in the 2026 fund profit rankings.
It was reported that Sütşurup's father, Cihan Sütşurup, was also on the same list, ranking 6th with a profit of 639 million 402 thousand 912 liras.
