Habermetre has shared with the public the celebrities who were the most frequent subjects of news in 2023 by scanning thousands of Turkish websites.
The top of the list included names such as Dilan Polat, Acun Ilıcalı, and Haluk Levent.
Dilan Polat, who was the subject of 74,961 news reports, topped the 10-person list. Polat, who was arrested in November along with her husband Engin Polat on charges of tax evasion and money laundering, reached 238,326,324 views in 2023.
Polat was followed by Acun Ilıcalı, who was the subject of 69,262 news reports. Ilıcalı, who frequently made headlines with his private life as well as his productions on Exxen and TV8, reached 125,239,324 views.
In 3rd place on the list was Haluk Levent, who was the subject of 52,868 news reports.
Levent, who made a name for himself with the aid he provided to the earthquake zone through the Ahbap association he founded, reached 60,354,218 views.
