They were all damaged in the earthquake... A surprise that moved Ece Seçkin

Singer Ece Seçkin was asleep in her home during the earthquake felt in Istanbul. Stating that the awards she had won were shattered after the earthquake, Seçkin had shared the sadness she experienced with her followers.

In her post, Seçkin included the following words: "My architect had designed this glass display case specifically for my awards. Because every award I have won carries a special meaning for me. Only this display case was damaged in the house... The awards, which were the accumulation of years, were shattered. My heart broke along with them. My father and Çağrı comforted me by saying, 'Don't be sad, we will find a glass master, we will repair them, maybe we can save some of them.' 

My architect, who knows how much I value my awards, also stepped in immediately. Losing items with sentimental value affects me deeply. May God never let us experience such fear again. Get well soon to all of us."

ANNOUNCED WITH A NEW POST

Ece Seçkin made a new post on her social media account. The famous singer shared her happiness with her followers by announcing that the award display case, which was damaged in the earthquake, has been repaired and her awards have been restored to their former state.

In her post, Ece Seçkin used the following expressions: “The meaning each of my awards carries is different and very special. When my cabinet was shattered, I had said, ‘My heart is shattered too.’ While I was wondering if these awards, which were smashed to pieces, could ever be put back together, I met wonderful people thanks to that bad earthquake experience. While I was talking on the phone in tears, Ms. Melis said, ‘Send them all, Ece, I will take care of it’... And she truly kept her word, and then some. When I held each repaired award in my hand again, I smiled once more and relived those moments.”
