Derya Uluğ, one of the beloved names in pop music, stated in a post on her social media account that a person who had been threatening her and her boyfriend Asil Gök for a long time came to her concert in İzmir and sat in the front row. Known for hit songs such as "Yansıma", "Canavar", "Okyanus", and "Kanunlar Gibi", Uluğ expressed that this incident was one of the most difficult performances of her life.
LEGAL PROCESS CONTINUES
Derya Uluğ's lawyer, Mustafa Görkem Evkuran, issued a written statement regarding the matter, noting that Uluğ and Gök have been subjected to harassment and threats by an individual identified as S.T. for approximately 18 months. It was announced that in the indictment prepared following an application to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was decided that S.T. should be punished for the crimes of sexual harassment, stalking, threats, and insults. However, the defendant appealed the decision and took the file to the appellate court, and it was stated that the individual continued to harass Uluğ even while the court process was ongoing.
Derya Uluğ, who took the stage at a private event held in İzmir on May 3, 2025, expressed that she felt great anxiety when she encountered this person. Despite what happened, Uluğ completed her concert and said she hopes this difficult process will come to an end as soon as possible.
