The historic Darcan Mansion in Yeşilköy, also known as the Arnavut Hayreddin Bey Mansion, which hosted many Yeşilçam films, has been restored.
The mansion, which served as a set for many films ranging from "Süt Kardeşler" to "Tosun Paşa", and from "Kanlı Nigar" and "Orta Direk Şaban" to "Aşk Filmlerinin Unutulmaz Yönetmeni", has been brought back to the city following 2 years of work.
The mansion in Yeşilköy, Istanbul, was renovated by Sinem Necipoğlu Architecture while preserving its original historical and cultural characteristics.
'WE WORKED METICULOUSLY'
Regarding the restoration, Sinem Necipoğlu stated, "In the restoration works of the Darcan Mansion, which is classified as a first-degree historical monument, we undertook all technical, interior design, and team management details in addition to architectural applications. In this special project, we worked meticulously to preserve the simplicity and elegance of the mansion's original design and to create a concept and design suitable for its historical structure and texture."

Necipoğlu continued, "We pushed our boundaries to find a solution that meets modern requirements while protecting the historical heritage. By highlighting the aesthetic and architectural features of the mansion, we created a unique design that brings the past and the future together. With this project, which we are proud of, we have ensured that this mansion, one of the important historical structures in our country, is preserved in accordance with its original qualities, while also restoring an important legacy of Yeşilçam to our country."
