Tragic accident in Kayseri: Mother loses her life, son in intensive care

In Kayseri, a public bus driven by M.C.Y. struck Ebru Abavcı and her son Selahattin as they were trying to cross the road. The mother and son were trapped under the bus. Upon notification by bystanders, police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

Ebru Abavcı and her son, who were extracted from under the bus after approximately half an hour of work by the teams, were taken to Kayseri City Hospital following initial intervention. Ebru Abravcı, one of the injured, passed away during the night.
YOUNG CHILD ADMITTED TO INTENSIVE CARE
Ebru Abravcı's body was taken to the Kayseri State Hospital morgue for an autopsy. It was reported that Selahattin Abravcı has been admitted to the intensive care unit. It was learned that the procedures for the bus driver, M.C.Y., who was taken into custody, are ongoing at the police station.
The investigation launched by the police into the accident continues.
