In his first statement following a liver transplant, famous actor Ufuk Özkan expressed his reproach regarding some close acquaintances who were not by his side during his difficult days.

Ufuk Özkan, who had been receiving treatment for liver failure for some time and underwent a successful transplant surgery on February 3, has regained his health after the challenging process he experienced. Having left the recovery period behind, Özkan broke his silence after a long hiatus and shared his feelings.
Explaining that he experienced disappointments during his illness, Özkan stated that some in his close circle did not support him. The famous actor expressed his disappointment by saying, “There were older brothers, producers, and fellow actors who didn't even send a message, let alone call. God showed me their true faces. I didn't show anyone that I was hurt; I blocked them directly and erased them from my life.”
Stating that his perspective on human relationships changed with the difficult illness period, Özkan expressed that he sees this process as an important experience in his life.
“Unless your freedom is taken away from you unjustly or you have a terminal illness, do not be upset about anything in life. Do not waste this life, which is given to you only once, trying to make others happy,” he said, giving a meaningful message to his followers.
