US Judge Frank Caprio diagnosed with pancreatic cancer: 'I am ready to fight'

US Judge Frank Caprio announced in a statement to the American press that he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Caprio spoke as follows:

"I haven't been feeling well for a while and I underwent a medical examination," said Caprio, who continued with the following remarks:

"The results were not good. I have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, an insidious type of cancer. I am praying that God will guide the thoughts and hands of my doctors as they treat me. I know this is a long road, and I am fully prepared to fight as hard as I can.

The only thing people ask me is, 'What can I do for you?' First of all, I cannot thank you all enough for your friendship and kind messages. But I am asking each of you, in your own way, to please pray for me. In addition to the medical treatment I am receiving, I need the power of prayer, which I believe is the strongest weapon that will help me recover from this situation."
