He had started living in a cave after the earthquake: Teams convinced the earthquake survivor

Ali Bozoğlan, a 55-year-old earthquake survivor who began living in a cave following the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, was persuaded by Hatay Governor's Office teams and moved into a container home.

Following the February 6, 2023, earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, 55-year-old earthquake survivor Ali Bozoğlan, who had moved into a cave of his own volition, was convinced by Governor's Office teams to live in a container home. 

Following images that sparked widespread reaction on social media, teams from the Hatay Governor's Office took action. 

In the February 6 earthquakes, Bozoğlan's house in the Çekmece neighborhood of Defne district was heavily damaged and subsequently demolished. 

Following the destruction he experienced, Bozoğlan settled into a cave in the Yaylıca neighborhood of Samandağ district, believing it to be safer. 

Hatay Governor's Office teams, who went to the cave, persuaded Bozoğlan to move.

Bozoğlan, who was provided with new household goods by the teams, has settled into the container home.
