Mehmet Ali Erbil and Serdar Ortaç referred to court with request for arrest
TV host Mehmet Ali Erbil and singer Serdar Ortaç, who were detained as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of encouraging illegal betting, have been referred to court with a request for their arrest.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued detention warrants for 23 suspects, including singer Serdar Ortaç and TV host Mehmet Ali Erbil, as part of an investigation into allegations of involvement in illegal betting, advertising, and promotion.
In the operation conducted within this scope, 16 suspects, including Mehmet Ali Erbil, Serdar Ortaç, Zorbey Erkoçlar, İbrahim Yılmaz, Aleksander Mensikof, and Esma Sözen, were taken into custody. It was learned that 5 suspects are abroad and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining 2 suspects.
Mehmet Ali Erbil, Serdar Ortaç, and the others were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station were completed. The 16 suspects were brought to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
