Meryem Duymaz, the mother of social media phenomenon Taha Duymaz, who lost his life in Hatay along with his two siblings during the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, said she cannot forget the pain of losing her children and visits their graves every day.

Social media phenomenon Taha Duymaz, who lived in the Güveççi neighborhood of Hatay's Yayladağı district and was known for his cooking recipes, lost his life in the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş. Taha Duymaz and his two siblings, who were caught in the earthquake while staying at their aunt's house in the Antakya district, were laid to rest in the Güveççi neighborhood. Meryem Duymaz, the mother of Taha Duymaz, who died at a young age, has been visiting the cemetery every day since the day her children were buried.

Stating that she spent time with her children one day before the earthquake, Meryem Duymaz said, "It is very difficult, may God not show this to anyone. May God have mercy on them all. I hope their place is heaven. I am very sad, I never forget. It is as if they died just today. A year has passed since the earthquake, but it feels like yesterday to me. I come and go here every day. When I come here, I feel sad, but I also feel a little relieved. Melek, Taha, Umut, their aunt, and her husband, 5 people died."
