It was alleged that singer Nev, who gave a concert in Antalya, appeared on stage intoxicated and was unable to sing the songs.

While the audience reacted by shouting, "Get off the stage, man!", Nev suddenly left the stage.

Those moments were captured on camera by a citizen's mobile phone.

As he was leaving the stage, the singer said, "I will pay for everything."

WHO IS NEV?

Nevzat Doğansoy, known by his stage name Nev, was born on December 24, 1969, in Istanbul. He began his musical journey with the mandolin. The following years were spent listening to music, discovering new sounds, and building a collection, which laid the foundation for his musical identity and prepared the ground for his future creative work.

In his second year of university, he bought an electric guitar and began guitar training. By the end of the fifth month, he was already performing on stage. Throughout his university education, he performed music in the south during the summer months. This process, which prepared him for his current stance, played a significant role in his musical development.

After graduating from university, he entered the business world as expected, but this process continued alongside his music. In 1995, he performed at the Cool Bar with Chantage, a group consisting of Hakan Özer, Kıvanch K., and Tolga İnci. During this period, he worked as a product manager for brands such as Adidas and Slazenger.

As his identity as a composer began to take precedence over time, he realized he was at a crossroads and concentrated entirely on music, as his accumulated experience had reached the point of turning into production. In 2000, during a Turkey tour he joined at the invitation of Teoman, he had the opportunity to experience the reactions of nearly 100,000 people along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts.

Following three years of meticulous studio work, his first album, Her Şeye Rağmen, was released in music stores. All compositions and lyrics belonged to him, with arrangements by Hakan Özer, except for a remix by Kıvanch K. The album featured names such as Özkan Uğur, Göksel, and Tuba Önal.

Nev, who made a major breakthrough especially with the track "Zor," also gave the album the name of the song "Her Şeye Rağmen," which he wrote for people with disabilities.

He proved his success in music with the album Sen Gibi, which he released to music stores in July 2004. Nev, who does not confine his music to specific style patterns like rock or pop, found a place in the hearts of many music lovers with this album.

Following the album, he gave many concerts in various provinces of Turkey in 2004, sponsored by Coca-Cola.

He also took the stage at the Fanta Youth Festival, which began in May 2004 and continued throughout June, held in 24 cities across Turkey.

After a 3-year hiatus, Nev greeted music lovers with his album Işığım Ve Gölgem, released in August 2007. Işığım ve Gölgem was prepared in 1.5 years under the production of Nev and Naim Korudağ.

The album, which contains 12 songs, includes 2 different versions of the songs "Kör Kuyular" and "Kelebek." All lyrics and compositions in the album belong to Nev. Additionally, Nev prepared the solos on the album.

Combining the naive and lyrical understanding of the 80s with the sound of the 2000s, Nev continues to tell his own stories and the stories he mirrors with his usual sincere attitude.

The artist, who adapts Alaturka (traditional Turkish) melodies to a Pop-Rock center, describes Işığım ve Gölgem as an album that touches on themes such as facing oneself, claiming one's shadow, sometimes being able to love a butterfly freely without touching it, separation, pain, and humor.

In addition to his own album, Nev performed the piece "Kimseye Etmem Şikayet" from the Alaturka album titled Mucize Nağmeler, released by producer and singer Ercan Saatçi's own music company, Rec by Saatchi.

Furthermore, Nev performed "İkisi Bir" on the album prepared by "Tanju Eren," a guitarist and producer who has been in Turkish Rock Music for 20 years, specifically for his 40th birthday.

Following the release of his album 'Işığım ve Gölgem', Nev was chosen 'Best Male Singer' by 13 universities in 2007. Nev surpassed other candidates in the Best Male Vocal category in surveys conducted by Turkey's largest universities, such as Boğaziçi University, METU, and Yıldız Technical University.

Following his 3 albums, he has given nearly 400 concerts across Turkey since 2001 through intense concert and bar work. The 8 university concerts he gave in May 2009, in particular, attracted great interest and reached an audience of over 180,000. The concert where Nev received the most attention took place at Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon, with approximately 60,000 spectators.

Nev appeared before his fans again with his new album, Bir Nev-i Alaturka, released on June 16. The first music video from the new album was for the track 'Mazideki Aşk'. The Bir Nev-i Alaturka album took its place on shelves as both a CD and a vinyl record.

In the project, which took two years to prepare, unique Turkish Classical Music works were interpreted with Rock, tango, Latin, and rembetika melodies. The album, which contains ten songs, was produced by Nev, with Hasan Esen serving as art consultant, and mastered by Tom Coyne at Sterling Sound studios in New York.

Thanks to the album, which has a different style that will increase interest in classical Alaturka, works such as Kemani Serkis Efendi's "Kimseye Etmem Şikayet," Kaptanzade Ali Rıza Efendi's "Akşam Misafiri" and "Denizde Akşam," Yıldırım Gürses's "Mazideki Aşk," and Dede Efendi's "Ey Büt-i Nev Eda" can be listened to.

In this album, feelings that are sometimes sad, sometimes enthusiastic, and full of conversation towards the past are adopted.

The album, which features works that are a pleasure to hear such as "Ben Küskünüm Feleğe," "Sevmekten Kim Usanır," "Şimdi Uzaklardasın," and "Sensiz Olamam," stands out for its quality.
