Following the post, social media users reacted to Taşkın, and numerous complaints were filed with CİMER regarding the influencer's post.
Merve Taşkın was detained by teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Morality Bureau on charges of 'obscenity'. After completing her procedures at the police station, Taşkın was referred to the courthouse.
