Viral video of a crow suffering from thirst in the Antalya heat

Gül Uğurel, a resident of Antalya, gave water from a glass to a crow that landed on her shoulder, overwhelmed by the heat. The heartwarming footage of the pair brought smiles to many.

Gül Uğurel, who lives in Antalya, visited a friend's workplace in the Lara district of Muratpaşa the other day. As Uğurel stepped out into the garden area, a crow suddenly landed on her shoulder. Realizing that the constantly cawing crow was overwhelmed by the heat, Uğurel began to give the animal water from a glass. After cooling off, the crow flew away after a while, and the footage of the interaction between the two both warmed hearts and brought smiles.

Describing those moments, Gül Uğurel said, “I had gone to visit my friends. Suddenly, a crow landed on my shoulder. It was very hot that day, and I gave it water from a glass. It landed on my shoulder and started walking around. It was as if it was talking to me. At one point, it tried to come toward my eye, but it didn't do anything. I wasn't afraid at all; on the contrary, I was happy. Afterward, it flew away.”

Drawing attention to the heat in Antalya, Uğurel added, “We should leave water around for animals. We need to help them.”
