According to the data, the largest group of citizens in Istanbul are those registered to Sivas. According to official figures, 759 thousand 363 people from Sivas live in Istanbul. They are followed by those registered to Kastamonu with 546 thousand 718. In third place are those from Ordu. There are 519 thousand 889 people registered to Ordu living in Istanbul.

The number of people from Giresun living in Istanbul was determined to be 485 thousand 500, and the number of people from Tokat as 475 thousand 471. Additionally, 456 thousand 192 people registered to Erzurum also live in Istanbul.
