WHO IS NAŞİT ÖZCAN?
Necip Naşit Özcan was born on January 1, 1957, in Istanbul. He first stepped onto the stage in 1971 with the children's play titled "Ben Çalmadım" (I Didn't Steal), directed by Ferih Egemen at the Gönül Ülkü - Gazanfer Özcan Theater. He began his professional theater career in 1977 at the Akbank Children's Theater. Between 1979 and 1980, he received theater training in courses opened by the Ali Poyrazoğlu Theater.
Joining the Istanbul City Theaters in 1988, Naşit Özcan took on important roles in many plays there.
