WHO IS ÖMER YÜNGÜL?
Ömer Yüngül was born in İzmir in 1955. He graduated from the Boğaziçi University Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1978. Starting his career at Tekfen İnşaat, Yüngül subsequently held executive positions at Metaş, Faz Elektrik, and Merloni Elettrodomestici companies.
Joining Zorlu Holding in 1997 as the General Manager of Vestel Beyaz Eşya, Yüngül became the CEO of Vestel in 2000. In 2013, he was appointed as the first CEO of Zorlu Holding. Yüngül is married and a father of one child.
