Zeynep Bastık is receiving therapy for earthquake anxiety

Singer Zeynep Bastık was spotted in Rumelihisarı the other day.

Bastık, who moved to İzmir-Urla following the February 6 earthquake disaster, said that the recent 4.9-magnitude Çanakkale earthquake triggered her fears.

'IT BECAME A SERIOUS TRAUMA'

Sharing the panic she felt that night on her social media account with the message “I had a crying fit. This fear has really become absurd for me,” the singer said she is receiving therapy:

“I felt the earthquake very clearly. I shook quite a bit. I experienced great fear involuntarily and started to cry. I am still receiving therapy for this on the side. It became a serious trauma for me after the Hatay earthquake. I get triggered from time to time. I downloaded earthquake-related applications to my phone. I am also going to prepare an earthquake bag, but I keep forgetting. I trust my building, but we still never know what will happen.”
