1 person arrested in connection with the stabbing of a young woman
In the Atakum district of Samsun, an 18-year-old woman suffered a collapsed lung after an argument between two female friends turned into a knife fight. The woman detained in connection with the incident was arrested by the court.

The incident occurred in the Körfez neighborhood of the Atakum district. According to allegations, an argument between two female friends at home quickly escalated into a fight.
During the fight, T.G. (18) was injured with a knife, while B.G. (35) was beaten. B.G., who suffered 3 fractures in her nose, and the stabbed T.G. were taken by ambulance to the Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ) Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
However, the stabbed T.G. left the hospital on her own before treatment began.
T.G., who fell ill at her home yesterday afternoon, was taken back to the same hospital.
During examinations, it was determined that her lung had collapsed due to the stab wound, and T.G. was taken under treatment at the OMÜ Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
B.G., who was detained by teams from the Atakum District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau, which launched an investigation into the incident, was referred to the Samsun Courthouse today after her procedures at the police station. The suspect was brought before the duty magistrate, arrested, and sent to the Çarşamba Women's Closed Penal Institution.
