10 separate forest fires in Denizli
The Denizli Governor's Office announced that 10 separate forest fires broke out today in 6 different districts, 6 of which were caused by lightning strikes.

In a statement made by the Denizli Governor's Office; "Forest fires started today around noon in the Mollaahmet, Yeniköy, and Kelleci neighborhoods of Babadağ district, the Nikfer neighborhood of Tavas district, the Köprübaşı area of Kale district, and the forest area in the Cankurtaran neighborhood of Pamukkale district due to lightning strikes, as well as in the Akkent neighborhood of Çal, the Kelekçi neighborhood of Acıpayam, the Kocadere neighborhood of Honaz, and the Kınıklı neighborhood of Pamukkale."
The forest fire in the Pamukkale – Cankurtaran neighborhood has been brought under control, and cooling efforts are ongoing.
