10-year-old child shoots relative
In the Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş, a 10-year-old child accidentally shot and killed a relative while playing with a pump-action shotgun he found at home.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in the Yenipınar neighborhood of the Türkoğlu district.
10-year-old M.U.P. was playing with a pump-action shotgun, stated to belong to his father, when the gun suddenly discharged.
The pellets from the shotgun struck 35-year-old E.Ç., the son of his father's uncle, who was in the house at the time.
Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
E.Ç., who was seriously injured, lost his life despite all interventions.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
