17-year-old girl found shot
A 17-year-old girl found shot in the head at her home in the Akyazı district of Sakarya has died at the hospital where she was taken.

The incident occurred on 7134th Street in the İnönü neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Melek B. (17) was found by her family at home with a gunshot wound to the head.
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area.
The critically injured girl, who received initial intervention from the medical teams arriving at the address, was taken to Akyazı State Hospital and subsequently transferred to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital.
Despite all interventions at the hospital, Melek B. could not be saved and lost her life.
The teams, who have launched an investigation into the matter, are focusing on the possibility of suicide.
