20-year-old university student found dead in her bed
A 20-year-old young woman studying at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences was found dead in her bed by a friend at the home where she lived in the Serdivan district.

The incident occurred in the morning hours in the Kemalpaşa neighborhood of the Serdivan district. According to the information obtained, a friend found Ezgi Erdoğan (20), a student in the Media and Communication Program at the Sapanca Vocational School of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ), lying motionless in her bed.
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. The medical teams determined that the university student had lost her life.
Following the investigations conducted by police teams at the scene, Erdoğan's body was taken to the Korucuk Campus of Sakarya Training and Research Hospital. The young woman's body was sent to Çorum after an autopsy was performed.
It was learned that the young woman, who was interning at the Serdivan Municipality Press, Broadcasting and Public Relations Directorate, suffered from epilepsy.
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
In a condolence message published on social media by SUBÜ, it was stated, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Ezgi Erdoğan, one of the students of our university's Sapanca Vocational School Media and Communication Program, due to a medical condition she experienced this morning. We wish God's mercy upon our dear student; we extend our condolences to her grieving family, loved ones, and our university community."
Serdivan Mayor Osman Çelik, where the young woman was interning, also included the following statements in his post: "I learned with deep sadness the news of the passing of our daughter Ezgi Erdoğan, a student at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences who was doing her internship at our Municipality's Press, Broadcasting and Public Relations Directorate. I wish God's mercy upon her and extend my condolences to her grieving family. May she rest in peace."
