"We choose not to remain silent for our labor. We will fight on this path we have taken shoulder to shoulder until our demands are met.
We call on all members of the public who stand with labor to support our struggle," said the workers, whose press statement is as follows:
"We are workers who earn our living by the sweat of our brow and build life with our labor. For two months, we have been forced to work without our salaries being paid and with our rights being usurped.
Our employer has evaded responsibility by saying, 'Please forgive me, I will try to pay even though I am not obliged to,' has unfairly terminated our contracts, and has disregarded our labor.
This is not just a matter of salary; it is an open attack on human dignity, justice, and labor.
As AvaneCK workers, we will not remain silent. We are together to receive the compensation for our labor, to protect our rights, and to ensure justice. We are side by side, shoulder to shoulder. We will fight until we get what is ours and our demands are met.
OUR DEMANDS:
1. Our salaries, which have not been paid for two months, must be paid immediately with interest.
2. Our severance and notice pay, which are the counterparts of our unfairly terminated contracts, must be paid in full.
3. The employer's attempt to usurp our rights through a bankruptcy ploy must be investigated by legal authorities, and those responsible must be held accountable!
4. No worker should be deceived by excuses like 'asking for forgiveness'; our labor must be paid in full and on time.
5. Inspections that protect workers' rights in workplaces must be tightened, and similar injustices must be prevented.
We know that we are strong if we stand together and fight. As 270 AvaneCK workers, we are acting as one heart. We call on all members of the public who stand with labor to support our rightful struggle.
