29 hours have passed since the fire broke out in the compressed paper storage area of a paper factory in the Söke Organized Industrial Zone.
Due to darkness, the fire is being fought only from the ground.
Firefighting crews have taken precautions to prevent the flames from spreading to a nearby gas station and cement factory.
Intensive efforts by firefighting teams continue in the area, where wind is also occasionally effective.
The fire broke out for an as-yet-undetermined reason at the paper factory in the Söke Organized Industrial Zone yesterday around 17:00, and it has not been brought under control despite aerial and ground intervention.
