3 gunshots fired in front of the Turkish Parliament
An individual who wanted to meet with an official at the Turkish Parliament fired 3 shots into the air after being denied entry. The individual has been taken into custody.

The incident took place at the National Sovereignty Park of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) in the Çankaya district of Ankara.
According to information obtained, the individual arrived at the Parliament by taxi and requested to meet with an official.
The individual, who was not allowed into the Parliament and was reportedly experiencing family problems, went to the National Sovereignty Park and fired 3 shots into the air with their weapon.
Parliament police officers arrived at the scene upon hearing the gunshots.
Upon seeing the police, the individual threw their weapon and attempted to flee. The teams apprehended the individual and took them into custody. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
