36 foreign women working illegally in spas and massage parlors apprehended

In inspections conducted at spas and massage parlors in Hatay, 36 foreign nationals found to be working illegally were apprehended by police teams.

The Hatay Police Department continues its efforts without interruption to ensure public order and peace in the city.

On May 7, police teams conducted inspections of spas and massage parlors operating throughout İskenderun, focusing on human trafficking and checking work and hygiene permits.

During the operation, 11 businesses were inspected, and a total of 36 foreign nationals and 3 Turkish women were checked. The inspections revealed that 39 employees were not registered for social security, and 36 employees lacked hygiene certificates.

It was also determined that 3 businesses did not have a responsible manager, 3 businesses lacked operating licenses, 1 business did not have a tax plate, and 36 foreign nationals were being employed illegally.

The foreign women were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation.
