4.6 magnitude earthquake in the Aegean with two minutes between them

Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.6 were recorded in the Aegean Sea today at 18:40 and 18:42.

According to information on the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) website, the epicenter of both tremors was determined to be the Aegean Sea.

The earthquakes occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.

While there is currently no information regarding any loss of life or property due to the earthquakes, citizens in the region have been urged to remain cautious against possible aftershocks.
