Teams from the Bursa Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch and the Intelligence Branch followed Y.E.Ö. as part of their ongoing investigation. Searches conducted at the suspect's home and in his vehicle uncovered 45 kilograms of cannabis.
After completing procedures at the police station, Y.E.Ö. was referred to the courthouse on charges of "Trafficking in Narcotic or Stimulant Substances" and was subsequently arrested and sent to prison by the duty magistrate.
