Alarming fire in Silivri
A fire that broke out on the roof of a home improvement store on the D-100 Highway in Silivri grew rapidly due to the wind. While the fire, which was extinguished in a short time by the intervention of the Silivri Fire Department, caused material damage, the flames were captured on a mobile phone camera.

A fire broke out for an as-yet-undetermined reason on the roof of a home improvement store on the D-100 Highway in Silivri during the evening hours.
Growing rapidly due to the wind, the flames engulfed a large part of the roof in a short time. Upon the notification of citizens in the surrounding area, Silivri Fire Department teams arrived at the scene and intervened in the fire quickly.
As a result of the teams' efforts, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.
While there was no loss of life or injury in the incident, material damage occurred at the workplace. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
