Allegations of sexual abuse against students at a private school: 9 families have filed complaints
A teacher accused of sexually abusing students at a private school operating in the Kartepe district of Kocaeli was taken into custody following complaints from 7 families. While the teacher was arrested by the court, the number of complaining families has risen to 9.

It has been alleged that M.A., who worked as a teacher at a private school in Kartepe, sexually abused some of his students.
It was also claimed that M.A. would tell students "I will reward you" to get them to leave the classroom, and would harass some students by taking them onto his lap.
After the students told their families about the situation, the matter was reported to the police. M.A. was taken into custody following complaints from 7 families.
The teacher, M.A., was referred to the courthouse after his statement was taken and police procedures were completed.
The teacher, who was brought before a prosecutor, was arrested by the court to which he was referred and sent to prison.
It has been learned that the number of families who have filed complaints against the teacher M.A. has risen to 9.
