Famous artist Edis took the stage on the first day of the 2-day Youth Festival organized by the Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality.

Thousands of citizens flocked to the coastal area before the concert, causing traffic on the coastal road to lock up at times.

SIREN SOUNDS ECHOED

As the density reached its peak during the concert on the coast, traffic on the coastal road and the connecting roads leading to the coast became gridlocked, leaving vehicles unable to move for long periods.

At that moment, 2 ambulances on their way to pick up patients were stranded in traffic, signaling for a path for minutes.

The coastal area echoed with the sound of sirens as the ambulances requested a path. While vehicles in the coastal area tried to make way using the zipper method, one ambulance that had been signaling for minutes managed to clear the traffic and disappeared from sight.

Another ambulance, which was also stranded on the single-lane road leading down to the coast, waited for minutes for the road to clear. Minor traffic accidents occurred as some vehicles tried to move quickly to make way for the ambulance. The ambulance was only able to proceed once the road opened up amidst the prolonged sound of sirens.
