Armed attack in front of a business

The incident occurred around 21:00 in front of a liquor store located on Hadimi Street in the Mehmet Akif neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district. According to the information obtained, shots were fired at individuals from a car belonging to suspects with whom there was a prior feud, as they arrived in front of the liquor store owned by A.Y. 

In the incident, the business owner A.Y., his brother S.Y., M.G., and an unidentified person who were in front of the liquor store were injured. While the suspects fled the scene, numerous medical and police teams were dispatched to the address upon reports from citizens in the vicinity. 

One of the injured individuals managed to reach another business on their own to seek help. Medical teams arriving at the scene provided initial treatment to the injured. The injured, A.Y., S.Y., M.G., and the other unidentified person, were taken to Konya City Hospital by ambulance and placed under treatment. 

While it was learned that the health status of the injured is good, police teams have launched an investigation to apprehend the fleeing suspects. During the police investigation, the vehicle used in the escape was found abandoned on Ömerli Street in the Fatih neighborhood.

An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
