Assaulted a trans individual who mocked his masculinity
In Samsun, a person who allegedly assaulted a trans individual he encountered at night and robbed them of their jewelry after claiming they mocked his masculinity has been arrested by the court.

The incident occurred approximately 2 months ago at night on Talimhane Street in the 19 Mayıs neighborhood of the İlkadım district. According to the information obtained, a trans individual identified as G.K. filed a complaint with the police, claiming that a person had assaulted and injured them at night and robbed them of the jewelry they were wearing.
Based on security camera footage, the police determined that the assault was carried out by O.S. (29), who works as a porter for a transport company, and apprehended the individual.
O.S., who was handed over to the Gazi Police Station, denied the robbery charge, stating, "I encountered the trans individual on the street at night. They propositioned me. When I refused, they mocked my masculinity. I then assaulted them. However, I did not take anything from them."
O.S., who was referred to the Samsun Courthouse, was arrested by the duty magistrate and sent to the Samsun T-Type Closed Prison.
