Following the avalanche, drivers and passengers trapped in their vehicles sought refuge in Çanaklı Village, where local residents rushed to help. The villagers hosted approximately 100 stranded people in their homes. Citizens who had to stay in the village homes after their vehicles were left on the road experienced a difficult day.
