Barbecue smoke triggers alarm for 7 fire trucks

Smoke rising from the roof of a 7-story apartment building in Antalya mobilized the fire department. Seven fire trucks from two stations were dispatched to the scene, but it was understood that the smoke was caused by a barbecue.

Fire and police teams were quickly dispatched to the scene following a report of smoke rising from the roof of a 7-story apartment building on 100. Yıl Boulevard in the Varlık neighborhood of Antalya's Muratpaşa district at around 19:00.

A total of 7 fire trucks from two different fire stations were sent to the area against the possibility of a fire. Upon reaching the scene, the teams investigated the source of the smoke on the apartment's roof.

As a result of the inspections, it was understood that the smoke was coming from a barbecue lit on the roof. The incident aroused curiosity among local citizens. Shortly after, the teams returned to normal and left the scene.
