Blood spilled in parking space dispute in Beşiktaş: 1 person lost their life

One person has died in an armed altercation between two individuals in Beşiktaş over a parking space issue. Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred around 11:05 AM in the Dikilitaş neighborhood of Beşiktaş. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between an individual identified as F.T. (70) and an individual identified as E.Ş. (67) over a vehicle parking space.

The argument escalated quickly and turned into a fight. During the fight, E.Ş. shot F.T. with a firearm he was carrying.

While F.T. was critically injured, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. F.T., who was taken to the hospital after initial intervention, lost his life despite all medical efforts.

Police teams conducting an investigation at the scene determined that relatives of the man who was shot had beaten E.Ş. Following the investigation, the police took E.Ş. and 2 other people involved in the fight into custody.

The two suspects caught in connection with the matter were released by judicial authorities upon the prosecutor's instruction after their processing for the crime of "intentional injury" was completed. The murder suspect E.Ş., who was injured as a result of the beating, continues to receive treatment at the hospital.
