On the 15th kilometer of the Sinop-Boyabat highway, a car, whose driver has not yet been identified, collided with a light commercial vehicle carrying medical personnel.
Following the collision, a fire broke out in the light commercial vehicle.
Upon notification, fire, police, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene.
The fire in the vehicle was extinguished by fire crews. 4 people died and 2 were injured in the accident.
It was learned that 2 of those who lost their lives were doctors working at state hospitals in the districts.
Governor Mustafa Özarslan, Provincial Police Chief Tarıkhan Çetiner, and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Ferhat Kuran conducted an inspection at the scene of the accident.
