Brotherly dispute ends in murder in Kayseri

A family dispute in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri has resulted in death. A disagreement, the cause of which is not yet known, broke out between Oğuz Ü. (47) and his brother Ö.Ü. in the garden of a two-story house on Sedat Yenigün Street in the Selçuklu neighborhood.
It was stated that the incident, which occurred around 20:00, escalated quickly and turned into an armed fight. It is alleged that Ö.Ü. fired at his older brother, Oğuz Ü., with a hunting rifle.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Checks by the medical teams confirmed that Oğuz Ü. had lost his life. Following the investigation at the scene, the body of Oğuz Ü. was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
Ö.Ü., who is considered a murder suspect, was taken into custody by police teams. It was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
