Butchers' Chamber president stabbed in fight

The incident occurred at a butcher shop on Turan Güneş Street in the Yenişehir neighborhood of the İzmit district.
According to the information obtained, the butcher shop owner and Kocaeli Butchers' Chamber President İsmail Şalgam got into an argument with an unidentified person at his workplace.
Şalgam was injured after being stabbed in the leg during the fight that broke out as the argument escalated.
It was learned that Şalgam, who was taken to a private hospital in the district by local tradespeople who witnessed the incident, is not in life-threatening condition and is in good health. The police have launched an investigation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
