Car plunges into creek in Adana: 2 dead, 1 injured

In a traffic accident that occurred in the Aladağ district of Adana, 2 people lost their lives and 1 person was injured after a car lost control and plunged into a creek.
The accident took place in the Kabasakal neighborhood during the afternoon hours. The car driven by Fatih K. went off the road and plunged into the creek after the driver lost steering control.
Upon notification, health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area. Fire crews extracted the driver, Fatih K., as well as Funda Y. and Zuhal Y., who were in the vehicle.
Checks by medical teams determined that Funda Y. and Zuhal Y. had lost their lives. The bodies of the two women were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy procedures.
The injured driver, Fatih K., was taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving initial intervention at the scene. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
