Child abuse investigation in 19 provinces
Out of 37 suspects detained as part of a child sexual abuse investigation conducted in 19 provinces centered in Diyarbakır, 14 have been arrested.

Within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Cyber Crimes Branch determined that obscene images containing child sexual abuse were being bought and sold on a social media platform.
The teams apprehended 37 suspects in simultaneous operations across 19 provinces centered in Diyarbakır.
Following their procedures at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse, where 14 were arrested by the duty magistrate judge, while 23 were released, with 1 of them subject to judicial control measures.
