Cracks form in building columns in Kartal: Building evacuated
A 4-story building in Kartal, where cracks were discovered in its columns, was evacuated and sealed by police and municipal police teams as a precautionary measure.

The incident occurred on Doğan Street in the Yukarı neighborhood of Kartal. According to the information obtained, residents who noticed cracks forming in the columns of a 4-story building reported the situation to the authorities.
Upon the report, AFAD, UMKE, police, and municipal police teams were dispatched to the scene.
Teams took security measures in and around the building.
The building was evacuated as a precautionary measure. Following an inspection, the building was sealed by municipal police teams.
While security measures were taken in the surrounding area against potential risks, the street was closed off with tape.
