Daughter-in-law detained for allegedly beating father-in-law to death
A dispute between a daughter-in-law and her father-in-law in the Artova district of Tokat has resulted in death. The daughter-in-law was detained following the incident.

According to the information obtained, a dispute broke out for an unknown reason in front of the house between K.V. (52), an Azerbaijani national residing in Ağmusa village, and her father-in-law, Mustafa Cici (88).
The incident escalated into a fight, during which the parties assaulted each other.
It is alleged that Mustafa Cici fell to the ground as a result of a blow from K.V., and a report was made to the 112 Emergency Call Center. The elderly man, who was taken to Artova State Hospital by medical teams dispatched to the scene, could not be saved despite all medical interventions and lost his life.
As part of the investigation launched by the Artova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, K.V. was taken into custody, and it was learned that the suspect's judicial proceedings are ongoing.
