Demonstrations and marches banned for 7 days in Şanlıurfa

The Şanlıurfa Governor's Office has announced that demonstrations and marches have been banned across the province for a period of 7 days.

In a statement issued by the Governor's Office, it was noted that certain decisions were taken within the scope of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations.

The statement included the following: "With the exception of events deemed appropriate by the Governor's Office and district governorships, all potential open-air events, gatherings, marches, press statements, hunger strikes, sit-ins, rallies, setting up stands, erecting tents, distributing leaflets and brochures, hanging posters and banners, and support activities have been banned for 7 days in the city center and districts."
