It has been reported that demonstrations, press statements, sit-ins, tent setups, stand openings, and similar actions and events have been banned for 4 days in Hakkari.

In a statement issued by the Governor's Office, it was stated that the aim is to prevent actions and attacks that are considered to directly and clearly create the conditions for limitation and prohibition as provided for in the Constitution and laws.
The statement, which noted that certain measures have been taken to ensure the safety of life and property of citizens, to thwart the plans of terrorist organizations, to prevent the commission of crimes, to ensure the continuation of fundamental rights and freedoms, and to prevent acts of violence, included the following:
"Within the geographical boundaries of Hakkari, from 00:01 on October 10 until 23:59 on October 13, for a period of 4 days, activities such as demonstrations, open-air meetings, indoor meetings, press statements, sit-ins, conducting surveys, setting up tents and stands, organizing signature campaigns, distributing leaflets, brochures, and flyers, and all kinds of protest actions to be organized in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911 have been banned in accordance with the relevant articles of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911 and the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442."
