Dispute over feeding stray animals ends in bloodshed
Two people were injured in a knife fight that broke out over feeding stray animals in the Efeler district of Aydın.

The incident occurred in the evening hours in front of the Aydın Police House on Albayrak Street in the Güzelhisar neighborhood.
According to the information obtained, while H.Ö. and his wife S.Ö. were leaving food on the street for the neighborhood's stray animals, they began to argue with their neighbor, I.Ç., who did not want the food to be left there.
The argument quickly turned into a knife fight. During the fight, I.Ç. and H.Ö. were injured in various parts of their bodies with a knife.
Citizens who witnessed the incident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the region.
The police teams that arrived at the scene in a short time took security measures to prevent further incidents, while the health teams provided the first intervention to the injured individuals and transported them to the hospital by ambulance.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
